Hi, I’m Katie and I’m a freelance exhibition designer

What can I do for you?

I work on a freelance basis and can provide designs & drawings for your exhibition stands. The majority of my work is for design companies, however I can work with the end client too, and have great connections that would be able to deal with the project management and build side of things.

I understand how important it is to create an impact in a busy hall, and I can take a brief and turn it into something that will stand out and catch the attention of customers walking past. I have the experience to design a stand that not only looks good, but is also functional, and more importantly, buildable!

A bit about me

I have been designing exhibition stands since I left university in 2013, where I studied Interior Architecture & Spatial Design. I worked for design companies for 5 years, before going freelance in 2018.

I love working on exhibitions, as they are always different, and I get to work with a wide variety of brands and budgets. It’s great when I can be a bit more creative with some of the larger, bigger budget stands! But I also like the challenge of trying to meet a clients brief and still make the smaller spaces stand out.

When I’m not working, I’m either out on dog walks, or on the climbing wall. Or more recently, running around after a toddler!

My work

  • ‘I have been working with Katie for over a year now. She is one of my most trusted freelance designers. Katie is able to work to a brief and deliver modern, innovative designs on time, every time, taking the stress out of hitting deadlines, which I can not put a higher value on.’

  • ‘I have worked on dozens of projects with Katie and have come to know her well in a professional capacity. Her ability to read a brief is second to none. She has a rare blend of sticking to what the client is asking, but at the same time introducing a fresh take, some novelty to what’s being asked.’
